We only had a mere two days, three nights, to see this historically beautiful and interesting city. In hindsight this was not enough as there is so much to do and see - our days were jam-packed with temple-hopping, geisha-hunting, katsu-eating, and tasting the obligatory sake; which left us exhausted but wanting more.
What a city!! So much to see and do to suit (literally) every taste imaginable. Absolutely loved everything about Tokyo.
A visit to Nikko was like visiting a spa resort. You leave feeling completely zen, thankful for the experience, and dreaming of a return visit. A beautiful place.
Our busy 10 day trip to Japan meant we had only one full day to see both Miyajima and Hiroshima. Surprisingly it was do-able without feeling like a crazy rush!
A beautiful country with such lovely and friendly people, and such a mixture of things to see and do. The wish list for a first time visit is often longer than time permits for - hence the importance of a well planned itinerary!
